PASTEL, de son vrai nom, est la cadette d’une famille atypique et colorée. Suite à son premier album *Painting Fears* (2008) enregistré à Los Angeles, Pastel nous revient quelques années plus tard avec un deuxième album *Under my Headphones* (2011), sur l’étiquette Bros. PASTEL, une voix chaude, sensible et aux teintes de blues s’inspire du courant musical des années 70 et des chanteuses à texte tel Carole King, Carly Simon & Joni Mitchell. En plus d’avoir présenter ses chansons en Europe, en Angleterre et d’être très active sur la scène Torontoise, elle a su s’entourer d’excellents musiciens de la scène québécoise tel Bob Walsh, Guy Bélanger et Marc Déry pour ne nommer que ceux-ci. Réalisé par Bruce Cameron, le prochain album de Pastel est en enregistrement avec des titres coup de poing comme *Baby go to hell* ou *Be my guest*. Venez découvrir sa voix et ses chansons!
PASTEL, it’s her real name, is the youngest of an unusual and colorful family. Following her first album *Painting Fears* (2008) recorded in Los Angeles, Pastel is back with a second album *Under my Headphones* (2011), under the Bros label. PASTEL, a warm and sensitive voice, inspired by the musical power of the 1970s and singers like Carole King, Carly Simon and Joni Mitchell. In addition to present her songs in Europe, in England, and to be very active on the Toronto scene, she was able to surround himself with excellent musicians of the Quebec scene like Bob Walsh, Guy Bélanger and Marc Déry to name just a few.
